All Chicago
All Chicago prevents and ends homelessness through four signature strategies.
The Emergency Fund provides critical financial assistance to people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness or another serious emergency. They quickly provide payments on a person’s behalf for things like rent, utilities, or even bus passes. In 2016, All Chicago served 3,195 households, including more than 1,350 children, with $2.7 million – and 94% were housed after one year.
Through Community Partnerships, they serve as the backbone of Chicago’s city-wide response to homelessness. They partner with 44 agencies and lead them through a year-round research, evaluation, strategic planning, and federal funding application process. In 2016, Chicago’s homelessness decreased 13%.
Through All Chicago's Data Analytics, they collect and analyze city-wide data on Chicagoans experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness and the services they receive. They disseminate the data to drive discussion, set strategy, and make policy and funding decisions. In 2016, All Chicago developed interactive data dashboards that became a critical component for the Ending Veteran Homelessness Initiative, which has housed more than 3,500 veterans.
Through Research and Training, All Chicago helps our partners apply proven strategies to prevent and end homelessness in Chicago even more effectively.
In 2016, allChicago hosted 42 trainings for more than 900 attendees. Learn more about our unique, effective strategies at www.allchicago.org
